AMBIENT ENVIRONS I – IV
I really love how these 4 pieces turned out. Continuing exploring “theme and variations” ideas. I can only imagine this quartet being displayed together in the same space on the same wall. I wanted to create “meditation art” for lack of a better term. I wanted to create a large scale(*) work that would not only decorate an environment but also more-or-less blend in and be non-distracting. Something that can be easily dismissed but when spending time offers it’s own rewards of quietness and a sense of empty space or empty area. Something that is minimal yet is paradoxically anything but minimal. You can click on each one to view larger and separate from the whole for more detail.
